With over half of the vote, you voted for Horsham captain Joe Shelley whose commanding displays in the middle of the pitch earned him the Supporter’s Player of the Year Award for 2015/16.

‘Biff’, who scored his twentieth goal of the season in our 11-1 demolition of Hailsham Town yesterday, repeated the feat he achieved at East Preston and Littlehampton Town by lifting the newly renamed Southern Combination Football League Premier Division trophy as he helped Horsham regain promotion into the Ryman League. His goal yesterday also markedย his fiftieth appearance in Horsham colours.

The box-to-box midfielder has been an integral part of Dom Di Paola’s conquering squad and has been a firm supporter favourite with his goal scoring prowess and technical abilityย and has scored some sensational goals along the way including his screamer at Selsey and an incredible goal from the halfway line during our Christmas derby day fixture at home to landlords Horsham YMCA.

Joe will receive his award during the presentations at our End of Season Do on Saturday 30th April, to be held at Horsham YMCA’s clubhouse. For further information on purchasing tickets to the event, please read HERE.
