Horsham 4 Littlehampton 2

A brace from Toby House helped secure Horsham’s passage into the forth round of the Sussex Senior Cup at Culver Road at the expense of struggling Littlehampton Town.

Bottom of the Southern Combination Premier League, The Marigolds’ defence was breached in just six minutes, when Josh Street scored his first goal for the club, smashing in a twenty yard thunderbolt, while House netted on fourteen minutes.

Littlehampton Town pulled a goal back midway through the first half when Lucas Pattenden scored, but Horsham proved strongest during the second half as they increased their lead via Toby House again, and Dean Bown, while Harry Heath scored an excellent goal for the visitors late on to ensure a more respectable scoreline.

Matt Dale’s report on the evening’s action, is now online.
