Children’s Hospice benefits from supporters’ generosity
Christmas Raffle proceeds donated to Chestnut Tree House
There was an eager buzz of anticipation in a packed clubhouse at Culver Road on Saturday, ahead of the draw and prize presentation for the annual Horsham FC Christmas raffle.
Over two thousand tickets had been sold during November, December and over the Christmas and New Year period, boosted by the fantastic support the Club received this year from local and national companies. Prizes to a value of £820 had been kindly donated, featuring everything from meals at Camellia and La Cucina restaurants and Sumners Ponds Café by the Lake, to teapots, children’s toys, Cognac, hampers and vouchers for a wide variety of food and services. A full list of all the prizes can be seen here.
The Club would like to thank Paul Osborn for his tremendous work in co-ordinating this year’s raffle, everyone who bought tickets to help make this year’s raffle such a great success, and to Sue Bravery for her sterling efforts in selling tickets!
The total amount raised of £2,130 will be shared equally between the football club and our very worthy chosen charity for this year, Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice in Arundel.
