Corinthian-Casuals vs Horsham: MATCH PREVIEW
Di Paola hoping to bounce back against Casuals on Saturday
A super strike by Jordan Clarke was the highlight of a well-contested match in the Tolworth mud as Corinthian-Casuals closed the gap on second-placed Lewes to two points with this afternoon’s 2-0 victory. The Hornets competed well but were unable to convert a number of first half chances before Clarke made them pay with a sublime curling effort into the top corner. Former Hornet Gabriel Odunaike added the second from close range, with Joe Shelley’s header against a post the closest Horsham came to beating home ‘keeper Danny Bracken. The second half introduction of Darren Boswell, Tony House and Alfie Rogers failed to provide the goal their efforts deserved and sees Dom Di Paola’s side drop to fourteenth place in the Bostik South Division.
