Vickers fail to fire, as Hornets machine gun down their guests
Terrace favourite Darren Boswell looks set to continue to thrill Horsham spectators after agreeing to sign up for the new season. The skilful winger scored ten goals last campaign, including two sensational strikes against Whyteleafe on the final day, despite starting just over half the club’s matches and supporters will be hoping that the matchwinner can improve on that statistic by staying injury-free throughout the 2018/19 programme.
Another hoping to have put his injury problems behind him is defender-turned-midfielder Jack Hartley, who enjoyed an eye-catching first season with the Hornets after joining from Shoreham last summer only to miss the last three months of the campaign with a badly gashed leg. The last of the latest triumvirate of players to agree terms with Dom Di Paola is young striker Dean Bown, as the manager continues his pledge to give youth a chance to shine.
