Hop Oast update
A round-up of the progress so far, and our expectations for the future
It has been a fantastic time for the club in recent weeks and we have much to look forward to as we prepare to move into our new home at the end of the season. As well as moving up the Bostik League table, runs in the FA Cup and FA Trophy included victories against higher-placed clubs and the team’s achievements have been marked with awards for Dom Di Paola as Manager of the Month, and Performance of the Month for the Trophy victory against Corinthian-Casuals. All this has been achieved by playing attractive flowing football which has been a real pleasure to watch.
The one disappointment has been the low turn-out for our home games. We realise that it takes a real effort to travel to Culver Road compared with getting to our new ground back in Horsham but the Club urges as many of you as possible to get along to the FA Trophy match this Saturday to see for yourself what you have been missing. The visitors are Potters Bar Town from the Bostik Premier Division and kick-off is at 3.00.
