We’re at the business end of the season and League and Cup games are coming thick and fast for all our youth sides.

Horsham Under 11s were in a play-off match against tough opposition Felpham Colts and, with only one able to go through to the Presidents Cup final, it was billed to be a nail biter and so it proved! At half time the sides were level at 1-1 but Felpham kicked on in the second half and scored three times without reply to dash the young Hornets’ dreams. Click here for the full report

Our U12s were finally able to play a home match, which hasn’t happened over the last few weeks due to the weather. Up against Worthing Town, they kept their good form going with a nervy 2-1 victory with goals from Harry Lawson and a spot-kick from Luke York.
The U13s warmed up for next week’s cup final at Worthing FC with a convincing 5-0 victory away to Worthing United Colts in what was a very competitive match. Nathan Jones, Zach Jeanes, Danny White, Denis Light and Frankie Mills got the goals that rewarded the Hornets’ hard work.

Having put their feet up last week, U14 Green welcomed Rustington Otters to Southwater looking to build on the positives from their last match. A battling first half display produced no goals for either side but Rustington upped the pressure after the break and, against a tiring Horsham side that has played just once in eleven weeks, ran in five unanswered goals to take the points. Horsham U14 Amber had no match.
