Horsham vs Hythe Town: MATCH PREVIEW
Horsham prepare for visit of Cannons
Horsham consolidated second place in the Bostik South East Division by completing the league double over Hythe Town while possibly ending the Kent club’s own play-off hopes. In a largely dominant display, the Hornets proved wasteful in front of goal after Lee Harding and George Hayward had scored to give them a 2-0 lead just after half an hour’s play, and the nerves were jangling slightly when Sid Sollis reduced the arrears with twenty minutes remaining. After spurning a hatful of chances to put the match to bed, Dom Di Paola’s side were grateful to a close range save by Josh Pelling, two minutes from the end, to secure the victory.
